☦ Детињци у храму Светог Николе – посета Епископа Иринеја
21. децембар 2025. годинеУ недељу, 21. децембра 2025. године, у храму Светог Николе свечано су обележени Детињци, празник посвећен деци, уз благословену посету Његовог Преосвештенства Епископа Иринеја.
Света Архијерејска Литургија протекла је у духу молитвене радости, а посебну лепоту сабрању дала су деца, која су својом искреном радошћу испунила храм. По завршетку Литургије, по древном обичају, деца су симболично „везивана“, а потом су даровала заједницу песмом на радост свих присутних.
Празнично дружење настављено је уз свечани ручак који су са љубављу припремиле чланице Кола Српских Сестара. Његово Преосвештенство је на крају обрадовало децу пригодним даровима и благословом.
Ово сабрање остало је као радостан сведок да Црква живи кроз своју децу и да се вера најлепше преноси у заједништву, молитви и љубави.

☦ Detinjci at St. Nicholas Church – Visit of Bishop Irinej
December 21, 2025On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Detinjci, the feast dedicated to children, was solemnly celebrated at St. Nicholas Church, accompanied by the blessed visit of His Grace Bishop Irinej.
The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was served in a spirit of prayerful joy, with the children bringing special beauty to the gathering through their sincere presence and joy. Following the Liturgy, in keeping with a cherished tradition, the children were symbolically “tied,” after which they delighted the congregation by offering a hymn, to the joy of all in attendance.
The festive celebration continued with a luncheon lovingly prepared by the members of the Circle of Serbian Sisters. At the conclusion of the celebration, His Grace blessed the children and delighted them with small gifts.
This gathering remains a joyful reminder that the Church lives through its children and that faith is most beautifully passed on through shared prayer, fellowship, and love.

We encourage the faithful to arrive as early as possible and to wear blue. The Holy Icon will be available for veneration throughout the night until it departs Thursday morning, May 22.

The children of the church school prepared the cross flowers for the procession of the Holy Cross as well as made crosses which were set out on the church on the feast day .
Vladiko took the time to see their work and take pictures with the children.

On Sunday September 24 the parish of St. Nicholas was blessed to have been visited by Vladiko Isihije of Valjevo Serbia , Vladiko has close ties to St. Nicholas as his sister is a member of the parish and talented iconographer . Vladiko’s nephews had the blessing to be able to serve with him in the altar.
